This class is anchored by two Big Ideas:
1. You don’t need to be tiny to be tied well. Japanese rope bondage techniques work on people of all shapes and sizes!
2. You don’t need to learn “regular” rope bondage before you learn Japanese rope bondage. The basic building blocks of Japanese rope bondage are actually simpler and safer than most “western” bondage techniques!
If you love the look of traditional Japanese bondage and want to tie your partner or be tied yourself than this class is for you. This is a bare basics class where we will teach all background and techniques in a non-judgemental and slow-paced setting. You don’t need to know anything to take this class. July 24 – Cratelab – SOLD OUT – using crates, trunks, boxes, closets, and other confined spaces for erotic play.
Claustrophilia? Why do so many of us find confined spaces erotic? Why do others find it stimulating to put their partners into confined spaces? In this hands’-on (butts-in?) class participants will be able to use a number of confined spaces including:
Mil-spec plywood crate
Teak chest
Lexan (clear plastic) box
Reinforced Ikea armoire
Kitchen Cupboard
…and more
We’ll explore the connection between confined spaces and other fun activities including sensory deprivation and rope/strap bondage, so bring your blindfolds and your rope.
We’ll also be taking some time to explore the special relationship between age-play and dark confined spaces (and self-exploration.) So bring your vibrator, bring your teddy bear, or bring your vibrating teddy bear!
Since this is the first time I’m teaching a non-rope class, there’s a special low, low rate.

Who doesn’t like free? I’ll be teaching a free intro class Wed, Aug 6 before Bondage a Go Go, San Francisco’s only BDSM/bodymod/geek themed weekly dance party, right at the club iteslf!
We’re caling it the “Rope Clinic.” I’ll be showing you the only two knots you need to do japanese style bondage, and lead everyone thru tying a simple yet challenging hogtie.
Couples and singles welcome, but everyone participates! Singles should be willing to both tie and be tied. Those wishing to be tied should wear supple yet form fitting clothes.
Bring a towel or yoga mat, water, and juice or a small snack!
